Why Italy

Studying in Italy, and in particular studying the language and Italian culture is a beautiful experience, chosen by thousands of students every year!
In all of the main Italian cities and especially the historical cities, (Florence, Rome and Venice, which boasts a sea location) and in every season of the year, over a million tourists, along with thousands of students from various age groups come to Italy from every part of the world!
Over the last 30 years, schools of Italian language and culture have multiplied by hundreds, in response to increasing numbers of foreign students and are now found all over Italy!
Most of the students are aged between 15 and 25, but it is also possible to find adult students, pensioners and sometimes married couples spending a few months studying the magnificent Italian culture and its splendidly romantic language!... and why not also learn the secrets of the Italian kitchen.
The foreign students come from various countries, predominately America, followed by European students, (France, Germany, Spain...etc), but Italy also welcomes students from South America, (Brazil, Argentina, Columbia, Guatemala, Costa Rica), Mexico, Japan and a minority of Arabic, North African and Eastern European countries.
Normally students come for short periods, (one to three months), during March to October (in December, January and February the schools are less full) however there are many students who choose to remain in Italy for some years. It is not difficult, (especially for younger students) to find part time work, supplementing your income, while extending your vacation in beautiful Italy.
Don’t worry if your Italian is not perfect!! In every school, in fact in daily life, nearly all Italians can understand and speak a minimum of English and Spanish. Often lessons may be taught in English, because the university professors and staff members from the schools generally know enough English to meet your language requirements.
In Italy there are beautiful schools which are well attended and not so beautiful schools, rarely attended. There are schools with well known courses and professional standards and then there schools with courses and staff of a much lower standard.
How do you decide??
This site was designed to be a useful tool in choosing the school and course most suited to your needs, as well as offering support and advice; our services include providing assistance with the necessary documents, information on accommodation, costs and all other necessary requirements.
Good luck and have a wonderful stay in Italy!
